The Women's Basketball team enters the weekend with an overall 9-6 record and an SAA record of 4-1. The Lynx will face off against the Sewanee Tigers at Sewanee on Friday at 6:00 pm. The last matchup between the Tigers and the Lynx was back in 2023 when the Lynx blew the Tigers out 78-38.

Scouting report: The Sewanee Tigers record sits at 3-13 overall and 1-4 in conference play. Olivia Falvey received the Player of the Week honors last week for her outstanding performance, setting career-high records in 3 categories. She is a Sewanee weapon to look out for. The Tigers have lost to multiple teams the Lynx have beaten this season.

Men's Basketball

The Men's team heads into the weekend with an 8-8 overall record and 2-3 in SAA matchups. The Lynx will travel to Sewanee, TN, to compete against their conference rival. The game against the Sewanee Tigers will be held at 8:00 pm Friday. The Lynx defeated the Tigers in Memphis in December 90-79 this season.

The team has been shooting a field goal percentage of .430 this season and is led by Sophomore Phil Dotson in points scored per game with 24.3. Dotson currently leads the SAA as well.

Scouting report: Sewanee is 5-11 on the 2023-24 season and holds an SAA record of 1-4. Center College was the only conference team the Tigers have managed to beat this season. A defensive player to watch out from the Tigers is Fletcher Bingham.

Their current record is 7-0 for the 2023-24 season. The meeting will take play on both Friday and Saturday. The Lynx are 2-0 in their last two matchups against the Tigers.

Women's Basketball

The Women's Basketball team enters the weekend with an overall 9-6 record and an SAA record of 4-1. The Los Lynx will tip off against the Centre College at noon on Sunday in Danville, KY. The last time the teams faced off was the 2023 SAA Championship, where the Lynx became back-to-back champions.

Coming into the weekend, Avery Marsh leads the Lynx in points scored this season, averaging 13.3 per game. Giana Vlahakos leads the team in rebounds with 155 for the season and leads the SAA in blocked shots. The Lynx, as a team, also lead the SAA in rebounds.

Scouting report: The Colonel's current record is 13-3 and 4-1 in SAA play. The Lynx and Colonels have both lost to Millsaps this season, which sets up a competitive matchup and a chance for the Lynx to continue defending their current title of SAA champs. Bailey Rucker leads the Centre offense, averaging 14.9 pts/game.

Men's Basketball

The Men's team heads into the weekend with an 8-8 overall record and 2-3 in SAA matchups. The Lynx will travel to Danville, KY, to face off against the Colonels at 3:00 pm. The Lynx went 1-1 with Centre last season.

The team has been shooting a field goal percentage of .430 this season and is led by Sophomore Phil Dotson in points scored per game with 24.3. Dotson currently leads the SAA as well.

Scouting report: The Colonels have a record of 6-10 overall and a conference record of 1-4. Centre has lost the same teams the Lynx have, yet the Lynx hold the advantage by taking additional wins that the Colonels could not pull out and falling to BSC in double OT.

Track and Field

The Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams will compete at two meets this weekend. A smaller group competes at the Vanderbilt Indoor Meet, which has competitions throughout Friday evening and Saturday. Most of the team is competing at the KMS Invitational at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

Last weekend, Olivia Freeman broke her school record in the 60M dash, racing a speedy 7.67 in her new max flys. The Lynx hope to continue to run, throw, and jump personal bests and qualifying times for the upcoming Indoor season.

At the Vanderbilt Invitational, the Lynx will face off against the nation's best, and it is a mainly DI meet. The KMS will be comprised of schools from all divisions, including DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA.
