Rhodes Athletics Weekend Preview (Sept. 29-Oct 1)
This weekend is homecoming weekend for Rhodes College, so plenty of games and festivities will be happening throughout the whole weekend. Games start on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Women's Soccer vs. Birmingham-Southern. Following the Women's Soccer game, Football kicks off at 2:00 p.m. and later Men's Soccer at 3:30 p.m. Cross Country, Women's Golf, Field Hockey, and Volleyball are all away on Saturday. Homecoming festivities continue on Sunday with a home game for Women's Soccer, who will play Fontbonne University at 2:00 p.m on the Rhodes soccer field. Field Hockey and Volleyball are both away on Sunday. As one of the most exciting weekends of the year, you won't want to miss out on all the action. Happy Homecoming and Roll Lynx!

Football
Football is home this Saturday, where they will take on Southwestern University at 2:00 p.m on Crain Field. The Lynx are currently 2-2 this season, and this will be the first time the Lynx will face off against the Pirates. This past weekend, the Lynx lost against Trinity University and are looking to avenge that loss in their homecoming game on Saturday afternoon.
Women's Soccer
Women's Soccer will match up against Birmingham-Southern College at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The Lynx are 10-7-1 in previous matchups with the Panthers. The last time the Lynx and the Panthers met was in 2022, when the Lynx won 2-0. The match will take place on the Rhodes soccer field.
Men's Soccer
At 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Men's Soccer will also match up against Birmingham-Southern College. In previous matchups against the Panthers, the Lynx are 9-6-2. The Last time these two teams met, the Lynx won 4-0. The Lynx will look to continue their win streak on Saturday.

This Saturday, the Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will compete in the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic. The meet will be in Louisville, KY. This is the Lynx's third meet of the season and will be held at EP Tom Sawyer Park.
Volleyball
The Lynx will face off against Centre College at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in Kentucky. The Lynx are 14-20 in previous matchups against the Colonels and want to add to their win column on Saturday morning.
Field Hockey
The Lynx are away on Saturday and will face off against Centre College at Noon. In previous matchups with the Colonels, The Lynx are 19-15 and are looking to add to their win column Saturday afternoon.
Women's Golf
On Saturday through Monday, Women's Golf will be competing in the NCAA Preview in Nicholasville, KY. This is the third tournament of the season for the Lynx and will take place at Keene Trace Golf Club.

Field Hockey
Field Hockey has an away game on Sunday. They will match up against Earlham College at 1:00 p.m. in Kentucky. The Lynx are 4-0 in previous matchups against the Quakers and are looking to continue that streak on Sunday afternoon.
