We are honored to announce that the Annual Morgan's Message Dedication Game is planned for the first game of the weekend on Saturday, September 23rd at 11:00 am for Field Hockey and Sunday, September 24th at 1 pm for Women's Soccer. 

Morgan Rodgers was a women's lacrosse player and avid student at Duke University. In 2019 after battling with her mental health following an injury, Morgan unfortunately passed away by suicide. Following her passing, Morgan's friends and family came together to create an organization aimed at ending the stigma around mental health in student-athletes. Morgan's Message, the name coined in her honor, advocates for normalizing conversations about mental health, equalizing the treatment of physical and mental health across athletic programs, and encouraging communication of personal needs between coaches and peers. Extensive resources are provided on their website to ensure that no one with mental health struggles suffers alone or in silence. We continue to share Morgan's legacy as a reminder that there is no shame in seeking mental healthcare and recovery is achievable. Let's all take a shot at mental health.
