Rhodes Athletics Weekend Preview (Oct.27-29)
There are lots of exciting events happening this weekend for Rhodes Athletics, which includes Cajun Fest, SAA Tournament games, and a Senior Day match. While there are no games this weekend on Friday, there are four home games to support on Saturday. Play begins at 11:30 a.m. where Men's Soccer will take on Berry College in an SAA Tournament quarterfinal match. Women's Soccer will also have an SAA Tournament quarterfinal match on Saturday. They will play Birmingham Southern at 3:00 p.m. Volleyball has their Senior Day match on Saturday at noon, so please try to come out to support your Lynx Seniors. Following the Volleyball Game, Football will play at 1:00 p.m. against Birmingham Southern College. Field Hockey and Cross Country are both away on Saturday. The weekend will wrap up on Sunday, when Volleyball has a home game against Sewanee. Please come out and support your Rhodes Lynx!

Women's Soccer
Saturday at 3:00 p.m., Women's Soccer will match up against Birmingham Southern College in the SAA Tournament quarterfinal game. The Lynx are 11-7-1 in previous matchups with the Panthers. The last time the Lynx and the Panthers met was last month when the Lynx won 8-0. The Lynx will look to advance in the SAA Tournament this Saturday.
Men's Soccer
At 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Men's Soccer will match up against the Berry College Vikings. This is a quarterfinal game in the SAA Tournament. In previous matchups against the Vikings, the Lynx are 4-11-4. The last time these two teams met was last month. The Lynx beat the Vikings 1-0. The Lynx will look to continue to add to their win column on Saturday night and advance in the SAA Tournament.
Volleyball
This Saturday. The Lynx will take on the Centre College Colonels at noon in Mallory Gymnasium. The Lynx are 14-21 in previous matchups against the Colonels and want to add to their win column on Saturday morning. This match is also the Volleyball team's Senior Day.
Football
At 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Football will take Birmingham Southern College. The Lynx are currently 5-3 this season and 8-8 in previous matchups against the Panthers. This past weekend, the Lynx lost 49-50 against Hendrix and are looking to bounce back from that loss on Saturday afternoon.

Field Hockey is away on Saturday. The Lynx will match up against Sewanee at 11:00 a.m. The Lynx are an impressive 31-1 in previous matchups against the Tigers and are looking to continue their win streak on Saturday morning.
Cross Country
This Saturday, the Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will compete in the SAA Tournament Championship at 9:00 a.m. CST. The meet will take place in Louisville, KY, at EP Tom Sawyer Park. This is the Lynx's 5th meet of the season.
