MEMPHIS- The Lynx go 1-1 on the weekend falling 8-1 in game one before bouncing back in game two with a 7-2 win.

Tallying Rhodes' only doubles win of the day, teammates Safarian and
Julia Darkey recorded an 8-6 win over Centre in No.1 spot. The Lynx bounced back from their 2-1 deficit sweeping the Colonels in singles play. On court one, Safarian routed Centre in consecutive 6-1 wins. Adjacent on court two, sophomore
Lea Letourneau defeated Centre's Lancaster 6-2, 6-1. After winning the first set and falling 6-3 in the second, sophomore
Emily Holderness held steadfast for the win beating Centre's Trinh 10-3 in the third set tiebreaker. Junior
Kate McGough secured 6-4, 6-1 wins at No.4 singles. Like teammate Holderness,
Dallas Bennett also had a rally for the books winning the first set 6-3 before falling in the second. The junior came back to secure a 10-7 victory for her final win.
Finn Mullen rounded out Rhodes' score with a 6-1 and 6-3 win at No.6 singles.
UP NEXT
The Lynx are back on the court Saturday, April 24th in Murfreesboro, Tenn. competing in the 2021 SAA Tournament. Rhodes went 3-3 in conference play and are seeded fourth. They will take on No. 1 seeded Millsaps to open the tournament.
