Memphis - We are excited to announce that athletic competition for the spring semester is slated to begin this weekend!

Men's and women's basketball open their 2021 seasons with home games against Birmingham-Southern College. The men will play at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, followed by a 1 p.m. game Saturday. The women will open their season at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 and conclude weekend competition at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

No fans will be allowed inside Mallory Gymnasium for home basketball games this month. However, Rhodes has partnered with BlueFrame Technology to bring live video to Lynx fans for free. Live statistics will also be made available. Men's home stats will be provided at this link all season, while the women's link can be found here.

The swimming and diving teams will travel to Jackson, Miss. in their season openers to compete against Millsaps and West Florida on Friday. The meet is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the Majors are hoping to stream the game live on Facebook: facebook.com/MillsapsSwimDive/.
