Florida - Rhodes College softball improves to 8-7 on the year after the Lynx recorded 13 hits en route to a 9-1 victory over Ohio Wesleyan.
A wild pitch scored the first run in the second inning for the Lynx who then crossed five runs on five hits in the fourth inning to lead 6-0. Three singles, one each from
Marisa Moore,
Samantha Feinstein and
Callie Perkins, were among the five hits. Moore and Perkins each recorded two RBI while Feinstein tallied one.

Moore then doubled in the next inning to score
Hannah Grace Roden who had singled down the right field line. Ohio Wesleyan evaded the shutout with a lone run in the bottom of the fifth on a walk, two singles and a wild pitch.

In the sixth,
Jenna Roulan singled in
Anna Kula who had doubled. With two runners on in the seventh,
Lauren King tallied the final RBI on a single up the middle.
Roden and Kula both went 2-for-3 while Roden scored twice and Kula once. Moore finished the game 2-for-5 with three RBI while
Leslie Matherne and King also recorded two hits.

Madison Keller earned the start once again. The sophomore struck out three across five innings, allowing just one run. King pitched two innings and struck out three after coming into the circle with a 7-1 lead.

Rhodes will now face St. Mary's (IN) at 9 a.m. ET followed by Hood College at 1:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday in Florida.
