Telli Tabbed All-South Region by ABCA and D3baseball.com

D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) have announced all-region honors for the 2019 season. 

Jacob Telli (Hendersonville, Tenn. / Pope John Paul II) earned All-South honors by both organizations, his first career nod from D3baseball.com and his second from the ABCA.

Telli, who earned second team accolades for D3baseball.com and third team honors from the ABCA, has accumulated conference and program records of 48 walks this year and 119 in his career. In addition, Telli has a career-high .585 slugging percentage, .387 batting average, 55 hits, 36 RBI, and 22 stolen bases. He led Rhodes in each of those categories except hits. The catcher also led the Lynx with 44 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .570 on-base percentage.

Telli ends his career second among active players in NCAA Division III with 119 walks and third with a .511 on-base percentage (fifth across all divisions). He is also 12th among active DIII players getting hit by a pitch 42 times. He also recorded a .344 batting average, .512 slugging percentage, 42 doubles, eight triples, six home runs, 82 RBI and stole 47 bases on 56 attempts during his four-year career with the Lynx.
