Murfreesboro, Tenn. - Rhodes College softball advanced to the Southern Athletic Association Tournament Championship for the second time in as many years. The Lynx finished their season with an 8-2 loss to No. 8 ranked Birmingham-Southern College. With Saturday's comeback victory over Millsaps, the Lynx earned their 27th win of the season, the highest wins in a season since 2010 and a career-high for head coach
Luke Wagner.
A two-run home run for the Panthers got things rolling in the first inning before a triple and home run in the third gave BSC a 5-0 lead. Senior
Kendall Henry answered with a two-run shot to left. She will have recorded a home run in her first and final collegiate games. BSC finished the game with three runs in the fourth, two of which were unearned.Â
Henry was the only Lynx to tally more than one hit in the game while
Lauren King earned three walks.Â

Kendall Henry were named to the 2019 All-Tournament Team.Â
Rhodes concludes the season with a 27-16 record and will lose
Jill Healy,
Kendall Henry,
Bri Maniscalco, and
Haley Rath to graduation.
