Memphis - The Southern Athletic Association has announced that Rhodes freshman Lilli Metts has been named the SAA Women's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday, November 6th. 

Metts (Houston, Texas / St. Agnes) placed second in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:00.63 in last weekend's dual against Birmingham-Southern. She was also victorious in the 200 Backstroke in a time of 2:10.89, and followed that swim up with a victory in the 500 with a time of 5:20.53. Metts capped off her strong day leading off the 400 Free Relay in a time of 56.25.

The Lynx women defeated BSC 166-96. Rhodes will travel to Arkadelphia, Ark. on Friday in a double dual against Ouachita Baptist and Southwestern.
