The Rhodes Women's Golf Team defeated Millsaps 348-397 this afternoon at Lake Caroline Golf Club in Madison, MS.  Stephanie Mingos carded a 78 to earn medalist honors in the match.  Mirel Brackin of Millsaps shot an 83 to place 2nd.  "It was great to see Stephanie have a solid round today.  Shooting 78 on a course she'd never seen before was really good," said Lynx head coach Mike Clary.

Other Rhodes scores were:  Maddie Callis - 89, Allie Bankart - 90, Nicole Jones - 91,  Christy Siegel - 94, Jami King - 111.  "Maddie really showed her experience today.  She played really smart and kept the ball in play," said Coach Clary.  "Due to the weather none of our players have been able to play a whole lot.  Allie, Nicole and Christy all hit the ball OK, but they had a few big holes which really hurt their score."

The Lynx return to play on Sunday in Franklin, TN when they will play an 18 hole match against Centre at Temple Hills Country Club.
