Rhodes dropped a pair of games to Division II Christian Brothers Tuesday evening by scores of 10-1 and 15-4, snapping the Lynx 18-game winning streak. In game 1, CBU pounded out 14 hits, scoring 3 runs in each of the 3rd, 4th and 5th innings to seal the win. Rhodes jumped on starter Nikki Dunn for 3 runs in the first inning, but CBU answered with a 9-run 3rd inning, and went on to take advantage of 6 Lynx errors to cruise to the 15-4 win. Rhodes matched CBU in hits, as each team posted 9 hits, but defensive miscues and stranded baserunners plagued the Lynx and were the difference in the game. Rhodes returns to action tonight against Mississppi College at Greenbrook Fields in Southaven, MS.
