The Rhodes baseball team lost this afternoon to Denison University 11-7.  Rhodes took an early 3-1 lead behind a 3-run home run by Sophomore Brent Lindsey and pushed the lead to 5-2 after two innings.  Denison eventually put up 7 in the top of the 4th and the Lynx were unable to take back the lead.  Sophomore Taylor Babich took the loss for Lynx dropping his record to 3-3.  Rhodes is now 10-4 on the season.

The Lynx offense was led by Sophomore 3B Brent Lindsey who was 2-5 with a homerun, two runs scored and drove in 3.  Junior 2B Andy Boucher was 2-3 with 2 RBIs, walked once, and a run scored.  Sophomore 1B Brogan Jayne was 2-3 with a run scored and a walk.  Freshman CF Travis Perkins was 2-4 with a run scored, got hit by a pitch, and stole a base.

Rhodes will return to action tomorrow morning at 10:30 against Marietta College and then Denison University at 2:00.
