Rhodes took a pair of games from the LeMoyne Owen Magicians this afternoon, winning in 5 innings by a score of 13-1 in each game.  Freshman Ashlyn Chandler gave up 1 run on 5 hits in game 1, improving to 2-0 on the season, while Kelli Zomer belted her 4th home run of the season to pace the offense.  Chelsea Peters struck out 8 and gave up no earned runs in game 2, picking up her 4th win of the season.  Cassi Bails-McLeod, Karli Alvino and Caroline Cooper each had 2 hits for the Lynx.

With the wins, Rhodes extended its win streak to 14 games, the longest win streak in the history of the program, and is off to the best start in school history at 17-3.   Rhodes will take its winning streak to Sewanee this weekend for a 4-game SCAC series.
