The Rhodes Volleyball team dropped their opening round matches on  Day 1 of the Bear Classic II hosted by Washington University.

In the team's opening match versus Culver Stockton, the Lynx lost by the scores of 16-25, 16-25, 21-25.  Senior Outside Hitter Kelsea Everett led the team with 7 kills while Libero Kayla McCrury had 22 digs for the Lynx.

In the team's nightcap, the Lynx lost in four sets to Virginia Wesleyan by the scores of 22-25, 25-19, 12-25, 23-25.  Senior Middle Blocker Maura Mohler led the Lynx with 9 kills while Freshmen Defensive Specialist Colleen Parrish added 15 digs for the Lynx.
