Christy Siegel, a sophomore from St. Joseph Academy in St. Louis, shot 82 (44-38) in the first round of the Rhodes Classic being played at Tunica National Golf Club (MS). Katie McKenna from Centre is the first round leader with a 78. Birmingham Southern leads the team competition with a 333 first day total. Centre and East Central Oklahoma University are tied for 2nd at 338. The Lynx shot 372 in the first round and stand in 6th place.
