The women's cross country team placed 1st out of 15 teams at the 2008 Rhodes Cross Country Invitational held at Plough Park.  Rhodes scored 56 points to edge out second place Berry College at 69 points.  Leading the women were Taylor Stephens who won in a time of 18:16 and Cybil Covic who placed 5th in a time of 19:32. 

Other standouts include Caroline Webster who was the third lynx through the finish line and 13th overall (20:36).  She was followed by Sandy Henin who placed 17th overall in a time of 20:43.  Melissa DeFabrizio was the 5th lnyx to cross the finish and 20th overall in a time of 20:54.
