#2 Trinity University defeated the Lynx in Memphis, TN 5-1 on a rain soaked Friday afternoon. The Tigers were on the score board early when Alan Llobet scored from a corner kick served in by Noe Casanova. Rhodes was able to hold the Tigers scoreless into half time. Both teams would exchange scoring opportunities, but neither team could convert.

The score line remained 1-0, until the 67th minute when Ben Grossman would score from Alan Llobet. Grossman would then score again a minute later, assisted by Tyrone Petrakis. In the 75th minute Noe Casanova scored with an assist from Grossman. Tommy Barros would finish out the scoring for Trinity in the 81st minute, when he was played a ball from Clay Middleton.

Rhodes would not be shutout when Freshmen Charlie Lent (Simsbury, CT) scored on a cross from Junior Allen Orgeron (New Orleans, LA).

In the net for the Lynx, Senior Alex Margolin (Austin,TX)made 7 saves.

Rhodes returns to action against Southwestern University on Sunday, Sept. 21 at Noon.
