Despite out-hitting the Lions for the second straight game, Rhodes dropped a 5-3 decision to Piedmont this afternoon at the Millsaps Classic in Jackson, MS.  Piedmont took advantage of 4 Lynx errors to score 4 unearned runs off of pitcher Cindy Bitters, who struck out 4 and allowed just 5 hits and 1 earned run.   Dana Bartolomei and Jennifer Whatley each had 2 hits, as the Lynx pounded out 9 hits, but stranded 9 runners on base.  Rhodes will play Millsaps tonight at 6pm.
