Freshman Taylor Stephens won the South/Southeast Region Meet in Seguin, TX on Saturday, November 15th.  She is the second Lynx woman to win the region meet and did so in a time of 21:55.  Cybil Covic (JR)  placed 9th overall and advanced to the National Championship Meet in Hanover, IN.  The next Rhodes harrier across the line was Sandy Henin (SO) finishing 24th followed by Caroline Webster (FR) in 41st, and Emily Broocks (SR) in 69th.  The women's team had a strong run to score 141 points and place fourth overall.

The Rhodes women had an outstanding year.  With a lot of young talent expectations were low, but the Lynx women stepped up to the challenge and ran great all year.  Next year they return six runners from the region meet and will look to qualify as a team for nationals.
