The Rhodes Lynx defeated the visiting Warriors of Hendrix College 4-0 during Homecoming.  On a beautiful fall day in Memphis, TN; with friends, family, and alumni in the stands, the Lynx scored early and often.

The Lynx would explode in the 1st half scoring all 4 goals.  Senior Jarrett Carpenter scored two goals for Lynx; his 3rd and 4th goals in the last 3 games. 

Carpenter scored an unassisted goal in the 12th minute.  In the 28th minute Freshman Michael Pappas assisted Junior Logan Eberly for his team leading 5th goal of the season.  In the 30th minute Eberly assisted Carpenter for his 2nd of the match.  Sophomore Eric Stradley scored the final goal with the help of Freshman William Hornaday, and Junior Matt Childs.

Senior Alex Margolin and Freshman Travis Lux combined for the shutout.

Rhodes returns to action when they travel to face SCAC foes Centre and DePauw this weekend.
