The Tigers of Colorado College defeated the Lynx of Rhodes College 2-0 in Colorado. 

The Tigers came out aggressive early in the first half, barely giving the Lynx a chance to settle in.  However, Rhodes was able to gain control of the ball and created good chances.  Both teams traded good goal scoring opportunities, but neither could convert.

In the 68th Minute Senior Jarrett Carpenter was issued a red card, and the Tigers would convert the ensuing Penalty Kick.  The PK was converted by Jordan Reese.  The Tigers would use the momentum to get the insurance goal in the 71st minute.  Chris Ellis scored for Colorado, and was assisted by Wes Rikkers.

Senior Goalkeeper Alex Margolin, made 15 saves on the 18 shots on goal created by the Tigers.  Brian Engle made 4 saves for the Tigers.

Rhodes looks to bounce back when they travel to Sherman, TX to face the Kangaroos of Austin College on Sunday.
