Rhodes evened their conference record to 1-1 and improves to 5-3 on the year with a 3-0 win over rival Sewanee. The Lynx started off very strong scoring twice in the first 3 minutes of play. Senior
Jenny Mueller scored the game winner on a pass from
Katie Slimp. The Lynx second goal was scored by freshman
Charlie Wagner on an assist from
Erin Atmar just 30 second later. Sewanee battled back and play evened for the majority of the game. With twenty minutes to play
O'Brien Wolff scored her second goal of the season on a penalty corner play to put the Lynx up 3-0, the assist on the play went to
Erin Atmar. On the game Sewanee out shot Rhodes 14-11 and held a 9-6 advantage in penalty corners. The Lynx take the road next weekend playing at Transy on Saturday and at DePauw on Sunday.
