Rhodes fell to Lindenwood today in their last home game of the season by a score of 2-0. The Lynx dominated first half play but were unable to score despite 13 penalty corner opportunities. Lindenwood's Michelle Bella scored the game winner for the Lions mid way through the first half and Michelle Sturtevant added the second goal with 18 minutes to play. The Lynx held a 17-8 advantage in penalty corners and 10-7 advantage in shots.
Julz Anderson had 5 saves in goal for the Lynx and Jennica Albertson earned the shutout for the Lions and recorded 6 saves. The Lynx drop to 11-5 on the season and the Lions advance to 8-7. Rhodes will be the #1 seed in the SCAC Tournament and will play Saturday at 11 am versus the winner of Friday's play in game at Sewanee.
