Partial Squad Takes 4th at Ouachita Baptist

Freshman Haley McConaghy was the top finisher for the Rhodes women's cross country team as they finished 4th at the Bob Gravett Invitational at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The Lynx brought just 5 runners to the meet, while the rest of the team remained in Memphis to train. Division II Harding University won the meet handily, scoring just 16 points. Rhodes finished 4th behind Harding, the University of Central Arkansas, and host Ouachita Baptist. Eight teams competed. Harding's Janet Kogo won the individual title in 18:13 on the flat course.

McConaghy finished 14th in 20:45, while teammates Abbey Walker and Jessica Huber both finished under 22 minutes in 23rd and 27th, respectively. Freshmen Emily Pope and Lauren Whitley rounded out the Lynx top five, with 39th and 42nd place finishes.
