Washington and Lee junior Nathan Johnson won the race with a time of 26:43 over the muddy and challenging 8,000 meter Georgia Regional Hospital course.

Juniors Heath Henderson and John Harrison finished the scoring, placing 30th in 28:09 and 39th in 28:26, respectively. They were the third-best numbers 4 and 5 runners in the region, only behind the top 2 teams at the meet. Rob Moore (52nd in 28:46) was Rhodes' sixth runner for the second straight meet, displacing scorers from all but 4 other teams in the region.
