The votes are in for the 2012 Men's and Women's ALL-SCAC Tennis Team.

On the women's side, sophomore Maggie Donoghue, despite an ankle injury that hampered her end of the season and kept her out of singles play during the conference tournament still was voted onto the ALL-SCAC Team. Early in the season she had a big victory against a nationally ranked opponent and played great all through mid-season until she hurt herself. Donoghue still finished tied for 9th place in the votings with a total of 15 points to secure her position on the SCAC team. Maggie will be returning next year and if she stays healthy she will be looking to have an even better Junior year.

Other Lady Lynx that recieved votes were senior Carolina Sanchez-Hervas with 5 points and freshman Krystal Skrmetta with 3 votes which put both players on the Honorable Mention team. This means they were outside of the top 10 but still recieved votes from coaches in the conference.

Morgan Slevin highlighted a group of Lynx that recieved post-season awards. Playing all his matches at the #1 spot this year, Morgan Slevin finished in second place for player-of-the-year votings behind 3-time POTY from Trinity. He had a total of 91 points with three first place votes which put Morgan only three points behind the POTY winner who had 94 points and 8 first place votes.

Ryley Erhardt who finished 2nd place for POTY last year finished in 3rd place for POTY this year. Ryley was the only Lynx to earn All-Tournament honors in singles this year, making him a 3-time member of the All-Tournament team and 3-time member of the ALL-SCAC team.. Both Morgan and Ryley teamed up to play #1 doubles this year and earned a national ranking of #13 while holding the #8 ranking in the region in doubles.

The other Lynx to be recognized was Senior Kevin Duffy. Kevin was voted to the Honorable Mention team with a total of 3 points. Duffy had a great senior season which ended with Kevin and Brad Penningtonbeing recognized as the lone doubles team to make All-Tournament for Rhodes.

It was a great year for the Lynx as they now prepare for next fall with a great incoming freshman class!
