NEW ORLEANS, LA – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Tuesday the women's 2010 Division III All-Academic Track & Field Teams. Included on the prestigious list were the women of Rhodes College.
Eligible teams must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.1 or better and the Lady Lynx easily met that standard by virtue of their team average 3.36 GPA. As a testament to the outstanding academics at Rhodes and the other members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), a total of five schools from the conference graced the All-Academic list.
Wartburg College (Waverly, IA) and Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL) captured top honors as respective Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Scholar Teams of the Year.
