Rhodes jumped out to a 49-13 halftime lead, and never looked back as they defeated the Sewanee Tigers 86-54 in a SCAC women's basketball game played at Mallory Gymnasium on February 5th. Sophomore guard Sharwil Bell led all scorers with 18 points, as Rhodes improves to 12-9 overall with the win.
     Rhodes shot 46% from the field for the game and outrebounded Sewanee 58-38. Rhodes had 5 players score in double figures and Jenilee Pate recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Lynx led by as many as 48 points in the 2nd half, in a game where they never trailed and opened the game ona  16-0 run.
